Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 3

Checking in on the Gamecocks who did go pro in sports.

Bryan Edwards, WR, Raiders: Edwards led Las Vegas with three catches for 89 yards, coming up particularly huge in overtime to set up the Raiders for a game-winning field goal.

Jadeveon Clowney, DE, Browns: Clowney had his most productive game yet as a Brown, logging three tackles — including two for loss and two sacks — and five quarterback hits.

Deebo Samuel, WR, 49ers: Samuel was second on the team with five receptions for 52 yards.

Javon Kinlaw, DT, 49ers: Kinlaw racked up six tackles, two solo, for San Francisco.

Ryan Succop, K, Buccaneers: Succop made all three of his extra point attempts and was 1-for-2 on field goals, nailing a 26-yarder.

Mike Davis, RB, Falcons: Davis led the Falcons with 50 yards on 12 carries and added 20 yards on four catches.

Joseph Charlton, P, Panthers: Charlton punted three times for 111 yards with an average of 37 and a long of 42.

Jared Cook, TE, Chargers: Cook grabbed two catches for 27 yards for Los Angeles.

Rashad Fenton, DB, Chiefs: Fenton had four tackles, two solo, for Kansas City.

D.J. Wonnum, DL, Vikings: Wonnum notched three tackles, one solo, for Minnesota.

Melvin Ingram, DL, Steelers: Ingram logged three tackles, one solo, for Pittsburgh.

NOTE: Jaycee Horn suffered multiple broken bones in his foot and has been put on injured reserve by the Carolina Panthers, a really tough blow for the rookie who’d been having a strong start to his season.
