The Gamecocks are 22-13 (8-7) after a weekend series loss to Mississippi State. They host Davidson tonight at Founders Park before a trip to Gainesville for a Thursday to Saturday series against Florida.
Davidson is 18-15 (8-7 Atlantic 10) and had a six-game win streak in early April, but they lost on Saturday and Sunday last weekend to drop a series to VCU. Carolina is 47-21-1 against the Wildcats all-time and has not lost to Davidson since 1975.

Cody Morris (3.12 ERA, 22 SO, 4 BB) will start for the Gamecocks Tuesday night. The freshman RHP, like nearly everyone else on the Carolina pitching staff, struggled last week against UNC, but he’s been a good midweek starter otherwise and will look to bounce back with a strong start tonight. Davidson has not announced a starting pitcher.
First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Founders Park.
