South Carolina opened SEC play last weekend with a hard-fought series against a good Florida team, but ultimately came up short and fell to 13-7 (1-2 SEC). The Gamecocks were originally set to begin a week on the road by facing the 8-11 Bulldogs in Charleston tonight, but it was announced Monday that Carolina would host the matchup instead. The Gamecocks had a brief respite from weather-related schedule changes over the weekend, but expected thunderstorms in Charleston forced today’s game against to move to Columbia. The home game against The Citadel scheduled for April 10th will now be played in Charleston instead.
