2018 NCAA Tournament: Greenville Regional Day 2 Preview, Game Times, and How to Watch

The Gamecocks face the Pirates in the second game of the day

Greenville Regional Day 1 Recap

The Gamecocks and the Buckeyes got things started in the regional yesterday with an intense game that ultimately resulted in a Carolina victory. Both teams missed plenty of opportunities and the Gamecocks trailed until they took the lead on a 3-run homer from Danny Blair. South Carolina won 8-3 and advanced to the winners bracket, where they’ll face East Carolina. Ohio State will play in the losers bracket against UNCW.

East Carolina and UNCW met in the second game of the day. The Pirates took an early lead in the game, and while the Seahawks hung around enough to not be quite out of it for a while, they were never able to fight their way back into the game. ECU won 16-7 and will face the Gamecocks in the winners bracket, while UNCW will face the Buckeyes in the losers bracket.
