I see the ‘Bama fans have already arrived at the comments section. They’re starting to remind me of the Auburn fans before Lattimore signed last year.
Clowney will stay because it’s home. Because of his desire to stay home, all we had to do to gain his commitment was to show progress this year and prove that we’re capable of making a move for the SEC Championship, and we did that. I think we’re good with him.

BTW...
‘Bama fans keep talking about how Clowney will get more “exposure” at ’Bama than at USC. I get that ’Bama is one of the country’s most highly publicized programs, but do they really think that USC is being ignored by the media? We were on national TV almost every week, were featured on the front page of ESPN.com several times (including after we pounded ‘Bama), and had several players recognized for individual accomplishments. Note to ’Bama: this isn’t Vandy you’re recruiting against.
