Max ended up doing what most thought he would. Signing with the Washington Nationals. The specifics of the contract have yet to be released, but rumor is he will get a sizable bonus, despite his slot value being much lower than a 6 figure value. We don't know specifics yet, but since Schrock signed I would make a guess that he ended up getting that bonus as the Nationals reportedly valued Max highly. Schrock finished the 2015 season hitting .328/.419/.500 with 6 homeruns and 34 RBI, despite battling injury for most of the year. Max will end his career with a .302 average to go along with 17 homeruns and 93 RBI's. As more information becomes available I will post updates as best I can. For more information in the upcoming days, head over to our sister site Federal Baseball.
****UPDATE****
I barely finished typing those words when his contract figures came out. Max will reportedly sign a contract with a $500,000 signing bonus. That is the highest bonus for any draftee taken after the 10th round so far this year.
13th-rder Max Schrock signs w/@Nationals for $500k. South Carolina 2B, sweet LH swing. Highest bonus after 10th rd so far this yr. @MLBDraft
