Game of the Week:
#24 LSU (5-2, 2-1 SEC) at Ole Miss (3-3, 1-2 SEC)
Saturday 10/21, 7:15 PM, ESPN
After a blowout by Mississippi State and an embarrassing loss to Troy, things looked bleak for the Tigers this season. But in the past two weeks LSU has turned things around and managed wins over both Florida and Auburn. The Tigers will try to keep their momentum as they head to Oxford as the favorite. Meanwhile, the Rebels will be looking to build a win streak of their own after earning their first conference win of the season against Vandy last week.
Idaho (2-4) at Missouri (1-5, 0-4 SEC)
Saturday 10/21, 12:00 PM, SEC Network
The Tigers haven’t won a game since their season opener, but they hope to snap that streak against Idaho this week.
Tennessee (3-3, 0-3 SEC) at #1 Alabama (7-0, 4-0 SEC)
Saturday 10/21, 3:30 PM, CBS
Despite having one of their best bye weeks in a long time, the Vols lost to Carolina last week to remain winless in the SEC. Things aren’t going to get better for them this week as they travel to Alabama for their “rivalry” game.
Kentucky (5-1, 2-1 SEC) at Mississippi State (4-2, 1-2 SEC)
Saturday 10/21, 4:00 PM, SEC Network
The Wildcats are second in the SEC East standings, but they’re underdogs in Starkville this week and will need to pull off an upset to stay in the thick of the race.
#21 Auburn (5-2, 3-1 SEC) at Arkansas (2-4, 0-3 SEC)
Saturday 10/21, 7:30 PM, SEC Network
The Tigers rolled through their early schedule, but they suffered their first SEC loss of the season after blowing a lead against LSU. They should be able to bounce back fairly easily against a struggling Arkansas team though.
