Gamecocks in MLB/MiLB Weekly Update

Each week we’ll look at how former South Carolina baseball players are doing in the major and minor leagues

MLB: Kansas City Royals at San Francisco Giants Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

It’s funny that the NCAA baseball tournament isn’t happening this year, right? Weird. I mean, I see people tweeting about a baseball tournament, but there’s no way we could be forced to endure a year in which Clemson won a national title in football and Florida could win a national title in baseball, so I choose denial.

Anyway, with no South Carolina baseball to currently care about, welcome to the inaugural edition of GABA’s look at how former Gamecocks are doing in pro baseball. Before we get to the stats, two former USC baseball players are among the top five in their positions in MLB All-Star Game voting.
