In what is becoming a fruitful weekend of recruiting, the South Carolina Gamecocks have received their second commitment of the day from 2019 inside linebacker Ahdarrious Gee.
Gee does not yet have any national rankings, but the Cordele County (GA) product was an absolute terror as a sophomore, averaging 14 tackles per game. He ended the season with two forced fumbles, 26 tackles for loss and another 23 hurries.
The Gamecock staff offered Gee in May. Including this weekend, he has made it to Columbia for two of Will Muschamp’s camps. Both times he has been joined by teammate Jammie Robinson, an athlete who has also had good things to say about South Carolina.
Four other SEC schools have extended offers to Gee thus far, including Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Auburn, but expect that list to grow throughout his junior season.
Gee becomes the first player in the 2019 class.
