Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 4

Checking in with the pros.

Mike Davis (Panthers): Davis continued to make a name for himself in the Panthers’ offense, rushing 16 times for 84 yards, catching five passes for 27 yards, and scoring a touchdown.

Rashad Fenton (Chiefs): Fenton turned in a whale of a performance for Kansas City in the Chiefs’ win, making three tackles, defending four passes, and grabbing this interception.

Damiere Byrd (Patriots): Byrd had his best game yet in a New England uniform, leading the Patriots with five receptions for 80 yards and making this nice snag.

Stephon Gilmore (Patriots): Gilmore grabbed three tackles and forced a fumble for New England.

Elliott Fry (Falcons): The Freisman finally got his chance in a regular-season NFL game, nailing his first goal of 23 yards and making one of his two extra point attempts.

Hayden Hurst (Falcons): Hurst was Atlanta’s second-leading receiver with four receptions for 51 yards.

Deebo Samuel (49ers): The dynamic receiver played his first game of the season after suffering a broken leg, notching three catches for 35 yards.

Javon Kinlaw (49ers): Kinlaw had four tackles, two solo, and a pass defensed for San Francisco.

Pharoh Cooper (Panthers): Cooper returned two kicks for 42 yards and a punt for six yards.

Joseph Charlton (Panthers): Charlton got relax this week with just one punt for 42 yards.

Ryan Succop (Buccaneers): Succop was 1-of-2 on his field goals, with a long of 26, and made all five of his extra points.

Taylor Stallworth (Colts): Stallworth recorded a tackle for Indianapolis.

D.J. Wonnum (Vikings): The rookie broke out for Minnesota against Houston, collecting two solo tackles that included a sack, a tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit.
