Fort Dorchester has for several years been one of the powers in South Carolina. That’s partly due to the quarterback play of South Carolina commit Dakereon Joyner, and likely won’t change in 2017 as the state’s #4 player heads into his senior season. A Post & Courier All-Lowcountry pick, Joyner and the Patriots visit Dorman High School tonight outside of Spartanburg in a rematch of the 2015 state championship game, as part of Week 0 of the Palmetto State high school football season.
Several of USC’s other commits in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee will be in action this week, with others hitting the field next week as things get going on the prep gridiron. Here’s who’s playing (all games on Friday unless specified):

Lugoff-Elgin (Wyatt Campbell) @ Camden
