Kevin Crosby

RS Freshman Tight End

6'1" 232 lbs.

Bamberg, SC.

Recruitment:

four-stars, 10th best TE in 2014 class

College Career:

Kevin Crosby missed most of his first season in 2014 after undergoing surgery on his right foot. He appeared briefly in the Kentucky game but did not record a reception. He then applied for and received a medical red-shirt.

2015 Outlook:

Crosby is currently listed as the team's second Tight End heading into 2015 and should see meaningful snaps this upcoming season. Retaining his years of eligibility is a huge win for Crosby, as he could blossom into a formidable Tight End, both for the Gamecocks, and in the SEC at-large. Look for Crosby to be used in blocking scenarios initially before being trusted to run routes free of impediment from his possibly lingering foot problems.

Trivia:

Kevin Crosby was a decorated and celebrated player coming out of high-school drawing plenty of attention. How many official offers from other schools did Crosby field?
