FTC disclosure: The Garnet and Black Attack College Football Pick 'Em Contest is sponsored by Gameday Depot. Garnet and Black Attack is a Gameday Depot affiliate.

Hi, folks. Today we're going to introduce a new element to the Garnet and Black Attack community--a Pick 'Em Contest. We think this is something that a lot of you will enjoy, and thanks to Gameday Depot, we're even able to offer prizes through the end of the college football season. There will be a weekly prize for the last three weeks of the regular season (including conference championship weekend), and then another contest with a really nice prize for the entire bowl season.

Here's how it's going to work. Whoever finishes in first place this week will win a South Carolina Gamecocks Bruiser Short Sleeve T-Shirt. After that, there will be similar prizes for the following two weeks, and then we'll have the 2010 Garnet and Black Attack College Bowl Pick 'Em Contest starting with the first bowl and concluding with the BCS National Championship. The winner of the bowl season contest gets a Carolina Gamecocks Automatic Pullover Fleece Hoodie and a $30 gift certificate. (Gameday Depot, by the way, is also offering a monthly chance to win a $50 gift certificate just for signing up for its free newsletter, which also qualifies everyone for exclusive coupons and stuff. You can find all of their South Carolina stuff here.)

So head on over to Fun Office Pools and sign up. You'll need to create a user name and then join our pool; the pool name is "GABA." Then don't forget to make your picks; they're due Friday at noon. Please let me know if you're having any trouble with signing up so I can look into it; I'm new to Fun Office Pools and wouldn't be surprised if we experience a road bump or two. This week we're picking Arkansas-MSU, Clemson-Wake, Mizzou-ISU, Nebraska-TAMU, OSU-Iowa, Oklahoma-Baylor, UT-Vandy, Troy-USC, Utah-SDSU, and Wisconsin-Michigan. Good luck.
