Carolina looks to bounce back from an unexpectedly close loss to Michigan St. by pummeling Radford tonight. You can chat here about the game.

I'll have a Troy football preview up after the game.

The stat line looks downright bizarre right now.

We’re up 10-3, but we’re shooting 3-13 to their 1-2 because we’re dominating the offensive boards.

'Cocks shooting sub-20% from the field.

Not good.

No energy or intensity.

It’s a good thing Radford can’t take advantage of our icy shooting and turnovers.

Yeah.

We may have spent ourselves out against MSU. We’re not playing anywhere near as well. As you say, it’s lucky that we’re playing Radford.

Ellington can really get after it on defense. His nose for the ball reminds me a bit of Devan.

Too bad he doesn’t seem to shoot free throws as well.

Great minds think alike

His offensive game has a lot of similarities too.

Is this game on TV anywhere?

The box-score looks impressive despite the opposition.

Love to see it raining 3's.

It looks like we have a much more consistent perimeter attack, which is good to see since we don’t get much penetration in the paint.

A 30-point lead is good, right?

I don't know. Let's ask silverblade :-)

I dunno.

I didn’t watch most of the game. I was in my car listening to it on the radio. I’m tuned in now, though, and see a lot of perimeter passing, and three point shooting. So, you know my opinion on that.

Lakeem Jackson is 4-4 from the line. Wonders never cease.

He seems to be ready to take his game to the next level, and that can only mean good things for Carolina.

I think FTs are mainly a confidence thing with him.

I think he made all or most of his against Elon and he’s been great tonight. Can’t blame him for being rattled at MSU; even Ellington was shaky from the line there.

Ha, very true.

Spinella happens to be a great defensive player, too.

Spinella?

You mean the “Spintuation?”

Anyone else think we might be a surprise team in the SEC this year?

I could picture us having a season much like Georgia did last year — in other words, being a very talented and competitive team, but ultimately with a record hoving around .500 because of youth. Can’t wait until these guys grow up a little and 2011’s class arrives.

by RumblinFish on Nov 19, 2025 9:02 PM EST reply actions

Definitely. It's still probalby too early to tell much about the team, but so far I like how we're playing.

The returning players, particularly Jackson and Spinella, have stepped up their games, and the newcomers look good. We knew Ellington would be good, but Richardson, Cooke, and Slawson all look like they can be contributors, too.
