South Carolina vs. Tennessee: Week 9 Injury Report

D.J. WONNUM BACK.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The South Carolina Gamecocks wrap up their October homestand when they finally get a night game against the Tennessee Volunteers. Former and oft-injured Akeem Auguste is here to guide you through the final injury report, which is blessedly thin after a bye week.

Zero Augustes - Full go!

One Augustes - Should play, but won’t start

Two Augustes - Game-time decision

Three Augustes - Questionable

Four Augustes - Unlikely

Five Augustes - Out

J.T. Ibe — Five Augustes

The senior safety was originally targeted to return after the open date, but the sprained knee he suffered against Kentucky must still be giving him trouble.

Nick Harvey — Five Augustes

Harvey was a late scratch against Texas A&M and is apparently still unable to go, though I’m not sure if coach Will Muschamp has elaborated on his injury yet.

D.J. Wonnum — Zero Augustes

D.J. WONNUM BACK, and I could not be happier about it. The junior defensive end is finally ready after suffering a sprained ankle against Coastal Carolina waaay back in Week 1. He should be an immediate boost to the defensive line and give fellow sackmonster Javon Kinlaw some much-needed relief from double teams.

A.J. Turner — Zero Augustes

After suffering a concussion against Missouri and missing the game against Texas A&M, Muschamp confirmed earlier this week that Turner has been cleared to return.
