Josh Cunningham takes one last visit

The top-100 recruit from Illinois continues to struggle to determine where he wants to play college basketball next season.

When Josh Cunningham visited South Carolina a few weeks ago, many thought it'd be his last visit of the process, given it was his fifth (and thus, final) official visit.  The Gamecocks hosted Cunningham during the weekend of the spring game, which allowed the power forward to witness Columbia at its best.

Instead of the final trip, however, it merely represented another step in the process.  Cunningham visited St. Johns last week in New York City on an unofficial visit.  Now, we find out that he intends to take one last (last?) visit before he finally announces his college destination.

Where's Cunningham headed?  To visit an old friend of the Gamecocks - Oliver Purnell, former Clemson coach, who now leads DePaul.

The Blue Demons have moved in late, but stand a chance to sway Cunningham given their proximity to his hometown near Chicago, Illinois.  Other potential landing spots at this time include Bradley (approximately 3 hours outside Chicago in Peoria) and Indiana.  247Sports.com's Crystal Ball doesn't know what to make of the process either, with four schools (including South Carolina) finding themselves between 10-40%.

Cunningham has yet to announce when he intends to announce his choice of schools.  He has delayed the announcement at least twice so far.  The signing period for basketball ends on May 21.
