The one post-game question I have is, are we ready to win the East? And take the Tide on again?

Other than that, there isn't much else to say right now other than that this was the most epic performance we've ever seen from Carolina. Gameday in town, biggest stage, BEST PERFORMANCE EVER from the Gamecocks! This is exactly what we signed up for when we lured Spurrier here. Hats off to the team. Not just to a couple of players; this was a team effort. And the biggest congrats to our offensive line, who manned up and BEAT 'BAMA in the trenches.

The one thing I want to point out is that when Alabama gave us their best shot early in the second half, we manned up and whipped thier ass. It's not something that we've ever seen from Carolina in a game like this. It's time to believe, people.

BTW, if any 'Bama fans come by here, treat them with respect. We're better than being assholes.

Next three games are critical

at Kentucky, at Vanderbilt, host Tennessee …

on paper better we’re than all three … all three generally at the bottom of the conference rankings … we’ll be favored in all three BUT …. we all know as fans that USC can’t just show up and expect to win - games aren’t played on paper, on the net or in Vegas …!

that we wouldn’t be number one … .he thought it was unfair! I do too!

My thought on the Auburn game (if we can find a silver lining out of a bowl of vinegar) is that it will keep us humble. Maybe we’ll get a rematch.

That game was amazing. Williams-Brice was the absolute loudest I have ever heard it. Maybe the loudest stadium I have ever been in. I’ll try to upload some video and pictures later tonight.

Rootin' priorities for the remainder of the year:

South Carolina to win out (obviously)
Auburn to win out (less likely than us due to their schedule)
Arkansas to lose a tough game to Auburn next week, and in Columbia. Win the rest 9-3
Bama to lose a 21-20/17-14 slugfest with AU, demolish LSU, finish 10-2
Georgia to beat Florida, just to eliminate the Gators before we get to the Swamp.

11-1, #3 South Carolina vs. 12-0, #1 Auburn for the SEC title in Atlanta

how about we get to play oregon … cocks v. ducks (there has to be a joke in there somewhere) …. SEC v. Pac 10 …. underarmour v. nike … ahhhhhhh …..

when we wake up, though, we have to tell ourselves that we’re still essentially the same team that lost to Connecticut in the Poppa John’s Bowl … remembering that is what might just make dreams come true … anything is possible if we play within ourselves ….

The O-line was tremendous…and in the 3rd, when it looked like the old USC was showing up, we buckled down and played like we had to. Hopefully, its a sign of things to come. Has to be great for recruiting too.

Nothing will change the fact that Bama is the elite program in the conference - I was thinking yesterday that as much as I’d love to see the Cocks in the SEC Championship Game, I hope its not against a revenge-minded Bama team (no disrespect), because give Saban and Bama two weeks to prepare for us on a neutral site and … well … I’ll leave it at that.
