Temple Hires Steve Addazio
In a story straight out of bizarro land, Temple has reportedly hired lambasted Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio to take over as head coach. Temple has not only provided Florida fans everywhere with an instant source of merriment; they have also done Gamecocks fans the favor of giving us another year of G. A. Mangus, who was reportedly one of Temple's targets. Why the Owls would choose a guy who drove the glorious Florida offense into the ground over one who had a big role in making the pitiful Carolina offense an effective one is beyond me, but I'll take it.

Mangus was never a serious candidate.
And I agree that this is an awful hire.
Paige's sparking personality is intoxicating; her beauty breathtaking; her intellectual prowess incomprehensible to mortals. Her radiance...her luster...drive men mad. Her omnipotence dangerous, yet alluring. It is her power that ensures gravity remains constant; her genius that inspires. She is not only responsible for the Earth's rotation, but may cure what ails the heart with a glance. I am Paige's pool boy...a serf to her ladyship. I am at her beck and call. I bow to her. I am not worthy. War Eagle.

I kind of wish Addazio stayed at UF
I mean, look at the UF offense this season under him. I’ll take that year in and year out.

I seriously doubt he would have had a job in G'ville after the bowl game...
But then again, Temple hired him, so what do I know. Maybe he’s a mesmerist or something.

True.
Their success under Golden was an exception to the norm. Looks like they’re headed straight back towards the old days in Philly.

Its an early Christmas at EDSBS
“… a one man offensive desertification campaign that took fertile green pastures and lay them to waste with the touch of a diving finger, a blood disorder preventing the cells from absorbing Vitamin TD, an inflexible clodhopper bent on running the same four plays like a dog running through its array of tricks until it gets a treat …”
Think they’ll miss him? The header pic of Prince Vultan is classic …
