South Carolina dropped a 75-51 decision to No. 10/11 North Carolina in women's basketball action Sunday afternoon at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The second game of the Carolinas Classic was a struggle offensively and on the glass for the Gamecocks (5-5), but the Tar Heels (11-0) had to earn their right to stay undefeated as South Carolina stayed close in the first half and battled to the very end of the game.

Bradley Jr. & Price Named To Louisville Slugger Preseason All-America Team | Gamecocks Online
South Carolina junior outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. and sophomore right-handed pitcher Matt Price have been named to the 2011 Louisville Slugger Preseason All-America team by Collegiate Baseball. Similar to the NCBWA team that was released earlier this week, Bradley was a first-team selection with Price earning second-team honors. The Gamecocks begin the 2011 season on Feb. 18, with a three-game series vs. Santa Clara.
