GM, you didn't lie when you said you didn't follow recruiting.
We’ve been after him hard the entire time. He was struggling to choose between us & NC State, but Graham brought it home. He’s a nice pickup, probably the best “all-around” TE prospect on our board. Rory Anderson’s likely the best TE receiving threat we will land. As for Adams, he’ll be headed to DE.

No, I wasn't lying.
I follow recruiting in January, and that’s about it. It’s just really not my thing; it seems a little tedious to me to follow the in-and-outs of the recruitment of the dozens of players we’re looking at each year. I’m going to try to follow it more closely and include more coverage on this blog, though.

Why are they doing that? If they get Clowney, they’ll still have a quality reserve in Chaz Sutton. Can Adams not catch or something? He’d be our most athletic tight end if he comes here.

For three reasons
1. Owens & Anderson are going to play TE & there won’t be room any room left at that position.
2. Adams is an athletic freak. He’s a plug-n-play type of player that can play a number of positions well. Many people think DE will be his best position.
3. Adams is not the best blocker ATM.

Also keep in mind that Adams is not a lock to qualify.
He can, but he def. still has work to do.

6'5" tight ends are nice.
It’ll be interesting to see if he can beat out Cunningham for the starting job. I think Cunningham has done really well, at least receiving. I haven’t been paying attention to his blocking. On a loosely related topic, who will be the fullback next year?

His blocking is the best part of his game.
Fullback is up in the air. Could be Coffee’s job to lose. Then again, maybe Cunningham will get a shot at being the new DiMarco w/ the TEs we’re bringing in. Who knows? It’s way too early to tell ATM.
