Former Carolina Football Head Coach Marvin Bass Passes Away

PrintPer ESPN, "Marvin Bass, a former head football coach at South Carolina who posted three wins against in-state rival Clemson in five seasons, has died. He was 91." Coach Bass led the Gamecocks from 1961-1965. He passed away on Friday, December 3rd.

Of our four losses this year, three have come after the death of a significant member of the Gamecock football family. (AU - Kenny, Ark - Bob Fulton, AU - Marvin Bass) (Yeah, that still doesn’t explain the UK loss, does it?)
