Alabama star JaMychal Green has been suspended by the Tide:

Alabama forward JaMychal Green has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.

Coach Anthony Grant announced the sophomore's suspension on Tuesday, the eve of the Crimson Tide's game at South Carolina.

Green is the team's second-leading scorer (14.8) and top rebounder (7.2). He is the only player to start every game for the Tide this season.

Green is one of the Tide's best player and would have presented a major challenge for us down low. 'Bama needed him for tomorrow's creampuff war.

As usual, this kind of news provokes mixed feelings in me. On the one hand, we can use whatever help we can get right now. On the other, the victories never feel the same under these circumstances. Of course, I suppose we've had to suffer through issues like this of our own, so that makes me feel a bit better.
