This Gamecocks Blog is in awe. We have been waiting for this since birth. We never lost hope in the "Garnet and Black" even during the 0-11 and 1-10 seasons. We knew with Spurrier it was going to happen. It is all about building a program, which he has done. He deserves credit along with the entire staff for doing something no one else could do within the program - win the SEC East.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

What a difference a week makes. There was no doubt about who the better team was Saturday night.

I can't get over the fact that Urban Meyer had lost two home games in his first five seasons here - and UF has dropped three this season.

Even if this is the worst Florida team in some time, 20 years from now no one will care. We've got an East title under our belt, and no one can take it away from us. And Haney is pretty kind with his grades this week. A's all around except for a B on special teams. Actually that B seems quite generous, but I guess in light of recent events it can slide.
