Sunday News and Notes: 2011 NFL Draft Preview and More

Never too early: A first look at the first round of the 2011 NFL draft - Russ Lande - College Football - Sporting News. A writer for the Sporting News makes some very early predictions on the draft, and he sees Jarriel King going in the first round. I'll have to say that I find that to be a pretty bizarre prediction. King is quite a physical specimen and has a lot of potential, but he's yet to become an effective player in his time here. Maybe he will this year, and if he does, he probably will be a high pick. The Post and Courier - Florida Gulf Coast 4, Clemson 2 (baseball) - Charleston SC - postandcourier.com. The Tigers continue to struggle with a loss to Florida Gulf Coast. Granted, FGC has a star first-game pitcher, but still...

Clemson is currently losing to FGC 6-5 in the bottom of the 8th.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Also, I should have the weekend wrap-up up sometime tomorrow night (if anyone out there is wondering).
